Age: 3+

What you need:

• Paper plate
• Construction paper
• Paint
• Scissors
• Glue

Instructions: Cut slits in the middle of the paper plate just like you do when you cut a cake, but leave about an inch at the edge of the plate. You should have some triangles formed by the cuts. Bend them upward to obtain the look of a crown. Paint it in your favourite colour and let it dry. In the mean time, cut out shapes such as circles, squares, or diamonds from construction paper and glue them to the crown when the paint is dry.
